Lt. Governor Tours Danville and Martinsville

Danville, VA - Lt. Governor Ralph Northam got the grand tour of Danville Friday. Northam started in Martinsville then made three stops in Danville.ABC 13 caught up with him as he visited the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Northam learned about all that they do at the Institute and the benefits it brings the city. Northam says the main priority of the trip is economic development. He said to move Virginia forward we need to bring in jobs and manufacturing."I just commend these folks here in Danville and all across where we've been looking to do the things they need to do to train our workforce to prepare for the upcoming years," said Northam.Northam also visited Smart Beginnings in Danville and the Danville Regional Medical Center.
