Farmville, VA - Longwood University has announced it will be raising its tuition cost for the coming school year.
The University's Board of Visitors approved a 4.1% increase in tuition and mandatory fees.
The cost for in-state students is now $11,340.
Room and board will increase 5% to almost $8,900.
When it's all added up, an in-state student living on campus will pay just over $20,200 dollars.
It will now cost an out-of-state student living on campus just over $33,000.
