Farmville - Sophomore captain Lucas Woodhouse hit a game-winning three-pointer with four seconds left, part of his career-high 27 points, as Longwood pulled out a thrilling 69-66 come-from-behind victory over Big South rival Liberty at Willett Hall in Farmville. The Lancers halt a seven-game losing skid and earn their first Division 1 win since November at TCU. Tomasz Gielo had 20 points and a game-high 10 rebounds to lead the Flames, who remain winless against the Lancers at Willett Hall, now 0-and-13. The Flames drop to 8-and-12 overall, 2-and-3 in the Big South while Longwood improves to 6-and-14, 1-and-4 in conference play. Longwood plays at Charleston Southern Saturday while Liberty returns home to face Presbyterian Saturday night.
