A local young woman recently had her picture shown in New York's Times Square after winning a competition. Kaylyn Aznavorian says Coffin House Studios Photography in Roanoke submitted her picture of her to the See Me Take Over Times Square Art Show.
After her picture reached a thousand votes in an online contest, it was featured on a 25-story billboard in the heart of Manhattan. Aznavorian says she didn't even know her photographer entered her picture, but she was so excited to find out she won.
Limited edition shirts and postcards of the image were made and are available at the W Hotel in Times Square, but Aznavorian says if you can't make it to NYC, you can find them here.
