Ways to Work Program Provides Single Dad with Car

Lynchburg, VA - A single dad in our area has a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.

Tyrone Hancock has been relying on rides from co-workers to get him to and from work, but he won't have to worry about that anymore.The Presbyterian Homes and Family Services and the Family Alliance is continuing to work with Lynchburg Mazda for its "Ways to Work Program. They offer low interest loans to working families so they can purchase a nice used car."Being limited as far as transportation is a difficult thing, and now with the independence of being able to travel on my own accord it's a wonderful feeling," said Hancock.{}Lynchburg Mazda donated the 2007 Kia Amanti to the Ways to Work Program and Hancock{}received the keys today.
