Forest, VA - A local church is coming to the aid of those residents still under the ban on water in West Virginia.
Living Word Baptist Church in Forest asked members to bring bottled water to their service Sunday.
They have almost 400 cases of water, about 10,000 bottles. Members say they know how much of a necessity clean water is, and hope they can help those struggling without it.
"I just felt like it was an opportunity for us a local church to impact the area there in West Virginia," says Teaching Pastor Jason Suit.
The church is renting a truck to deliver the water, and plans on leaving in the morning.
They're taking the water to a church in Nitro, West Virginia.
