Lightning Causes Fire at Roanoke Home

Roanoke, VA - Fire officials say lightning from Thursday's storms is to blame for a fire that broke out at a home Thursday afternoon.

The fire was in the 1400 block of Second Street SW. Two firefighters were injured in trying to put out the blaze. There is no word on their conditions.

The Red Cross is assisting three people who lived in the home. There's no word on how much damage the home sustained.
