Lynchburg, VA - The Lynchburg Humane Society has received a $10,500 grant that will help with medical care for shelter animals.
The grant comes from the Greater Lynchburg Community Trust.
According to the humane society, the money will be used to continue vaccinating every dog that comes into their facility for Kennel Cough. Also, they plan to continue funding their Spay and Neuter Clinic.
Officials say medical care is one of their biggest struggles as they work to become a "No Kill" shelter.
