LCS-ONE Community Launch Rescheduled for May 19

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg City Schools has rescheduled its LCS-ONE Community Launch event for Monday, May 19. During this event, LCS will roll out the plan to eventually provide a personal computer for all students in grades 4 through 12. This community event will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Information Technology Center at 3550 Young Place, and include a keynote speech by Rushton Hurley about why technology is important to the educational process.No transportation or refreshments will be provided, as was in the plan for the original event that was postponed in March.
