Montgomery Co., VA - The lawyer representing Jonathan Agee says the convicted murderer will plead no contest on Tuesday to charges he faces in Montgomery County.
Agee faces a number of felonies there including the attempted capital murder of Virginia State Trooper Matthew Brannock.
C.J. Covati, the defense attorney, says he hopes the plea will help move the sentencing phase of both cases into one courtroom.
The defense has already indicated they will argue that steroid use by Agee led to his behavior the day he murdered Jennifer Carter Agee.
Agee was found guilty last week of murdering his ex-wife on Memorial Day 2011 and now faces life in prison.
