Who ya got? Tech or Clemson? I'll tell you who I got.

Clemson has racked up a ton of yards against Auburn and FSU. The Tigers average 502.8 yards of total offense. The names you should know - quarterback Tajh Boyd, receivers Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins, tight end Dwayne Allen, and running back Andre Ellington.

Auburn's D is no good but FSU's came into the game ranked 5th in the country but you have to take into consideration FSU's first two opponents were Louisiana Monroe and Charleston Southern.

It'll be Clemson's first road game. That could be big especially in a hostile environment like Lane. Tech's defense is playing well but again it's been against cupcakes. Frank Beamer says the collection of talent Clemson has is unlike any he's seen in the ACC or the Big East. That's saying something. Both Tech and Clemson have a history of choking at certain points in the season and Tech's choke jobs have been at home in the past few years (BC, UNC, JMU). It'll be close but ( I just paused for about a minute trying to make a tough pick on the game) I'll take VT 31-27.

UVa is not looking good. Not enough speed, experience or talent - yet. They've lost to UNC and So miss the past two weeks. Rocco looks bad. Stats don't lie and right now he had 7 INTs to just ONE touchdown. You have to root for the hometown kid but Mike London hasn't blessed him with an overwhelming stamp of approval. David Watford came in (a dual threat QB - remember London won a FCS title with a dual threat QB at Richmond - Eric? Ward) and played well. He didn't complete a ton of passes but he got UVa back into the game. A bowl game would do wonders for the future of the UVa program but right now they have 2 wins in 4 games. They need 4 more in their last 8 games to get to 6 - the number required for bowl consideration.

LU has fallen apart but is not broken. They'll crush Kentucky Wesleyan and then deal with the big south. Danny Rocco has never had a 1-3 team at LU but they are now. Granted the losses were to NC state, JMU and Lehigh. Those last two were both ranked but those are games you have to win if you think you're playoff worthy. Now LU's only chance to get in will be to win the conference. With this tough schedule they could have gotten in without winning the conference but the losses already are too much to overcome as far as making the playoffs as an at large team.

Since Ky Wes isn't good, Rocco is sitting Mike Brown, Pat Kelly, Aldreakis Allen and Paco Varol could be out too. Unfortunately his father is in a coma back in native Germany.

Personal note - my Reds will finish with a losing record and I watched the Bengals-49ers game last Sunday. I'd rather have a root canal. Good note - I'll be a dad in about 3 weeks if it goes according to the due date.

Rock it out.
