Judge Rules in Favor of ACLU in Debate Over Prayer at Meetings

Pittsylvania Co., VA - A big win for the ACLU in the fight over prayer at Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors meetings.

According to ACLU lawyer Rebecca Glenberg, a federal judge ruled in favor of the ACLU and plaintiff Barbara Hudson Wednesday.

The ruling prohibits the Board of Supervisors from starting a meeting with a sectarian Christian prayer.

Both sides had agreed to go to mediation, but that failed, and it went back to a judge.
