Roanoke, VA - Roanoke City Public Schools announced Monday Joseph Jablonski will be the next principal at Patrick Henry High School, pending school board approval on July 9th. Jablonski has spent the past 14 years working in education, the last 6 with Roanoke City Public Schools. He is currently an assistant principal at Patrick Henry.
"Patrick Henry High School is one of the best high schools in the country and I'm truly honored to be the principal. I look forward to working with students, teachers, and the community to continue the successes here at PH and take the school to the next level," said Jablonski.
"I believe Joe is a great fit for Patrick Henry High School. He already knows the school and I think his experience in education will make him a great leader. I ask the community to join me in congratulating Mr. Jablonski as he becomes the next principal of a wonderful school," said Superintendent Rita Bishop.
Jablonski replaces Connie Ratcliff who is retiring.
