Lynchburg, VA - An estimated 500 people were served traditional Jewish food at the Jewish Food Fair at the synagogue on Langhorne Road Wednesday.
The fair featured foods like soup, pastrami, corn beef sandwiches, and lots of desserts, all made by people at the temple.
All of the proceeds went toward a good cause.
"We use the money for projects around town, and the brotherhood does a lot of things at the temple, and in the community, Food Fair Chairman Jack Schewel said.
This year was the food fair's 22nd annual event, always the day after the election.
