Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg charity offered a special thank-you gift to all the homeless who filled out the survey Thursday.
Interfaith Outreach gave the men and women a toiletry bag with basic personal hygiene items.
It was a big hit with many of the homeless. Some even admitted getting the goody bag helped motivate them to share their information.
"They are so incredibly grateful and excited when they open it up and they see all the nice new stuff in there," said Shawne Farmer, Interfaith Outreach executive director.
The honor society at Linkhorne Middle packed up the bags, and all of the items were donated by local churches.
