Appomattox Co., VA - A non profit, originally from New Jersey has found a new home in Appomattox County. It's called 'Til the End of Time Animal Sanctuary'.Laurie Walsh is a vet technician and founder of the sanctuary.
Roughly 10 years ago, Walsh says she noticed quite a few animals roaming the streets cold, hungry, and sick. She says sight broke her heart.The facility is a no kill shelter that rescues abandoned animals.
"We feel, after taking them in and giving them a second chance why take that away again," said Laurie Walsh, Founder, Til the End of Time Animal Sanctuary.
The facility is running at full capacity after only being open for a month with 60 cats and two dogs.
The shelter is in need of donations to help with food, litter and cleaning supplies.
