LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) - An Interstate 81 bridge in Rockbridge County is being named in honor of a Virginia State Police trooper who was killed in the line of duty in 1989. A dedication ceremony for the Master Trooper Jerry L. Hines Memorial Bridge will be held Monday at the Jerry L. Hines Readiness Center in Lexington.
