Huguely's Appeal Broadened
Charlottesville, VA - The man convicted of killing his on-again off-again girlfriend can now broaden the appeal to his murder conviction.
Virginia's Court of Appeals has expanded the issues that can be brought up by former UVa lacrosse player George Huguely.
The court ruled late Friday that his attorneys can raise three additional issues as Huguely seeks a new trial.
Huguely wants the court to overturn his conviction of second degree murder in the May 2010 beating death of Yeardley Love.
