Charlottesville, VA - Attorneys for George Huguely have been denied a rehearing on his appeal.
Huguely, a former UVA lacrosse player, is serving a 23-year-prison term for killing his ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love in 2010.
Huguely's attorneys had sought a full hearing before the Court of Appeals in Virginia, basing it on several issues related to his 2012 trial in Charlottesville.
They included questions about jury selection and the absence of one of his attorneys during the trial.
Huguely's attorneys say they are now considering other options, including an appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court.
