      Blacksburg - The Hokies open at home Saturday at 4 against William & Mary. J.C. Coleman gets the start at running back with Trey Edmunds still working to regain some speed. Michael Brewer won a close battle over Mark Leal at quarterback.Michael Brewer, HOKIES STARTING QUARTERBACK, said "To be where I'm at right now and to be named starting quarterback at a program like Virginia Tech... you know, it's an honor, it's a blessing and I'm excited for Saturday and it's going to be special."Willie Byrn, HOKIES SENIOR WIDE RECEIVER, said "They both had such good camps that whoever was named the starter we were happy for and content with."Frank Beamer, 28TH-YEAR HOKIES HEAD COACH, said "They (W&M) have a lot of good football players and a lot of veteran football players and we're starting a lot of new guys and so every game's a little bit different."
