Myrtle Beach - Kevin Ahrens hit his league-leading 41st double of the year and Jose Martinez and Sean Godfrey both had RBIs, but Lynchburg lost its regular season finale at Myrtle Beach 3-2 Monday night.Myrtle Beach took a 2-0 lead with single runs in the first and second, including Chris Bostick's solo homer in the second.The Hillcats' first win came in the fourth. Ahrens doubled and Martinez picked up his 34th RBI of the season with a single to center. . The Hillcats tied the game in the eighth. Blake Brown singled, and Sean Godfrey doubled over the head of the center fielder to knot the game at 2. Myrtle Beach broke the tie in the bottom of the ninth and won it on a walk-off double by Luis Mendez. Lynchburg now heads to Potomac for a best-of-3 series against the Nationals. Game 1 of the series is Wednesday night at 7:05. All three games of the first round will be played at Potomac because the Nationals won both the first and second-half titles in the Northern Division.
