Lynchburg - Greg Ross threw eight shutout innings, allowing just five hits and striking out five as the Hillcats blanked Winston-Salem 2-0 Sunday afternoon at Calvin Falwell Field.Alex Wilson pitched a perfect ninth to get the save as the Hillcats have now won two of three against the Dash in the series. They'll play the finale beginning at 5:05 Memorial Day Monday.Lynchburg got both of its runs in the third on a 2-run double by Kyle Wren. Wren, Jose Peraza and Eric Garcia all had two hits for the Hillcats. Ross ran his season record to 4-1 with the victory.Lynchburg improves to 24-and-25 and can reach the .500 mark with a win Monday over the Dash.
