Hillcats Beat Winston-Salem Again 6-3

Lynchburg - The first place Hillcats have now won five of their last six games after taking down Winston-Salem Tuesday night 8-6.

The two teams combined for 24 hits and 14 runs. It was tied at two in the third inning when the 'Cats scored four times. Robby Hefflinger's single brought home a run. A sac fly brought in another. David Rohm then doubled and Matt Lipka then brought home two runs with a double to center. It was 6-to-2 after three.

In the 4th, Hefflinger singled in another run. Lynchburg went up 8-to-2. The bullpen gave a few back but the Hillcats still win 8-6. Game Three of the series is Wednesday night at 6 at Calvin Falwell Field.
