Harvick Hopes Dover Can Bolster Chase Drive

Welcome, NC - Charlotte and Martinsville are coming up next month as stops in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Charlotte is two weeks from this Saturday night, Martinsville the final Sunday in October.

Tuesday, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Richard Childress Racing teamed up to promote the Bank of America 500 race week. RCR has a chance to win titles in each series. Kevin Harvick is eighth in the Cup Chase, Elliott Sadler currently second in Nationwide points and Ty Dillon leads the truck series. Harvick has high hopes this week at Dover.
Kevin Harvick, 8TH IN CHASE POINTS STANDINGS, said "For whatever reason, that racetrack has just been good to us lately. You know we went up and did a tire test a couple of years ago and were able to figure some things out from the driver's seat to really relate back to the guys what I wanted to feel in the car."
Richard Childress, RCR TEAM OWNER, said "It's a good racetrack for Kevin. Kevin really runs good there. We've just got to hit that right combination."
