Harry Hale, Jr. Found Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter

Pittsylvania Co., VA - A man accused of killing someone he thought was a deer has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. But Harry Hale, Junior was found not guilty of reckless use of a firearm. The judge also found Hale guilty of shooting from a vehicle. Back in December, police say Hale shot and killed his neighbor, Richie Pope, while hunting.

Hale claims he thought Pope was a deer. Hale's sentencing is scheduled for December.
