Richmond, VA - Virginia is $585 million in the green as heading into the next fiscal year, according to Governor McDonnell's office.
McDonnell had already announced a revenue surplus for fiscal year 2013 of about $264 million.
When combined to state savings of $320 million, you get the overall surplus.
Governor McDonnell says it's Virginia's largest surplus since 2005.
McDonnell's administration has ended every fiscal year with a surplus.
