Governor McAuliffe Talks McDonnell Trial
Danville, VA -- While Governor Terry McAuliffe was touring Danville Tuesday, we asked him about the McDonnell trial.
He said he is waiting for the judicial system to play out. McAuliffe says his thoughts and prayers are with the family but he is hoping for a speedy trial.
"I want to get it over as soon as possible. This is not good for Virginia obviously to have these types of things going on. But it's in the court system and the court system has to play out," says McAuliffe.
McAuliffe says he wants to focus on the positive aspects of Virginia like bringing his wife and entire cabinet to the Southside Tuesday.
