Glass Cross Country's Libby Davidson Reacts to Winning State

Lynchburg - Freshman Libby Davidson led E.C. Glass to a runner-up finish in the Group 4A State Cross Country Championships at Great Meadow in The Plains. Davidson won the individual state championship, running a personal best 18 minutes, 28 seconds to edge JF's Erin Saunders by four seconds. Davidson captures the first state cross country title in Glass history.

Libby Davidson, STATE INDIVIDUAL CHAMP (E.C. GLASS), said "I was just so excited, like I couldn't really, I was just so happy. And everyone was like OH, it was really like not overwhelming but exciting to have all these people around you congratulating you, and my team did so well."
