Girl Fighting Cancer to Set Up Lemonade Stand at Lynchburg Community Market
Edie Gilger has fought a rare form of cancer since she was 6 months old, and her story has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on CBS News.
This weekend, she and her family are setting up a lemonade stand at Lynchburg's Community Market to help benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research and also spreading awareness.
Edie and her mom Emily spoke to ABC 13 News Thursday about their plans to set up at the community market from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
