Concord, VA - Fourteen people are dead after Tropical Cyclone Phailin slammed India's coast over the weekend.
It snapped power lines, overturned cars and ripped some bamboo homes off their foundations.
Concord's Gleaning for the World is already hitting the ground there, coordinating with other humanitarian groups to get supplies to storm victims.
They say they have a truckload of water being dropped off Tuesday. They are also working to coordinate delivering children's shoes and food.
"They need these supplies immediately and to know that we're able to reach out and do that faster than most other organizations and more effectively, it's deeply rewarding to know that we can do it," said Andrew Young, Gleaning for the World.
