Amherst, VA - The Garlic Festival at Rebec Vineyards in Amherst County has wrapped up Sunday.
The weekend was packed with live music, wine tasting, more than 100 vendors and even activities for the kids.
The event has been running for more than 20 years now. The owner says as soon as this year's event is over he begins planning for the next year.
The weekend really gives local wineries an easy way to showcase what their winery has to offer. They say that folks they meet this week, end up becoming customers for life.
"Sales plus we see a lot of familiar faces and then we see a lot of faces from the garlic festival that will come out to the winery and find us too," said Kimberly Pugh, Owner of Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery.
If you missed this year's Garlic Festival, you can still visit Rebec Vineyards. They are open daily for tasting's and tours.
