      Gammaw Pat's Napa Salad

      Gammaw Pat's Napa SaladBy: Chef Emerald Coleman

      Ingredients:

      • 1 head Napa cabbage, sliced
      • 5 Scallions, sliced
      • 2 package Ramen noodles, crunched up
      • 1/4 stick Butter
      • 1/3 cup Sesame seeds
      • 1 package Almonds, sliced
      • 1/2 cup Oil
      • 1/2 cup Sugar
      • 1/4 cup Vinegar
      • Salt and pepper to taste

      Directions:

      1. Place butter, Ramen noodles, almonds and sesame seeds{}in pan over medium high heat and toast to a light brown color.

      2. Slice cabbage and scallions and place in a large bowl.

      3. Add to cabbage and browned noodle mixture and toss.

      4. Combine sugar, oil and vinegar. {}Shake well to make dressing.

      5. Pour dressing over salad just prior to serving.
