REPORTING ERROR: Earlier this week ABC 13 Sports reported that from the beginning of the region tournaments teams must win out to advance and win a state title. That is incorrect. Since the VHSL decreased the amount of regions (from 4 to 2) in each classification (1A through 6A), the two teams that reach the region finals will advance to state semifinals win or lose. ABC 13 Sports regrets the error.
