Roanoke, VA - One Roanoke restaurant is offering up some free food for anyone who can prove they got out and voted on Election Day.
Texas Tavern will give up a free bowl of its famous chili to anyone who has their "I Voted!" sticker on after voting Tuesday.
The eatery's owner says the idea is to give something back to those that take the time to do something as important as voting.
"We're not going to get into the politics of it. I don't care who you voted for I'm just happy you voted. Just come down - you've gotta have your sticker that they give you at the polls. Wear that; one per person. A free bowl of chili for doing your civic duty. You can't beat it," said restaurant owner, Matt Bullington.
The deal is good all day Tuesday from 6 a.m. until midnight.
