Former Redskins Player, Coach Jack Pardee Dies

Houston - One-time Washington Redskins player and coach Jack Pardee died Monday in Houston at age 76 from gall bladder cancer that had spread to other organs.

Pardee was an All-Pro linebacker with the L.A. Rams, finishing his playing career with the Redskins in '73. His coaching career included stints with the Bears, Redskins, Oilers and the University of Houston. Pardee was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986.
