Former Pittsylvania County Social Worker Gets No Jail Time For Indecent Liberties

Pittsylvania Co., VA - A Danville woman got no jail time after pleading guilty to four counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

Mary Laughinghouse, 55, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor in her custody more than 20 years ago.

Laughinghouse was working as a social worker in Pittsylvania County at the time. The victim, now 42, was 17 when the incidents occurred.
Laughinhouse was sentenced to 8 years in jail, all suspended.
