Former First Lady Susan Allen Hosts Book Signing at L.U.

Lynchburg, VA - The former First Lady of Virginia, Susan Allen, has just released her very first children's book. Monday, she came to Lynchburg to talk about it.

The book is called The Remarkable Ronald Reagan.
Allen hosted a book signing at Liberty University's book store Thursday afternoon.
The book tells how Reagan worked to pay his way through college and took a stand against communism as president.
Allen says our youth could all learn a lot from the 40th president.
"We want young people who will be our next leaders of our nation to understand what they need to do to prepare to be great leaders. That is our goal, to make sure they see Reagan as a regular guy who went on to do remarkable things," said Allen.
Susan Allen is married to Virginia's 67th governor, George Allen. She says it was Reagan who inspired her husband to get involved in organized politics.
