Summary: The Cavaliers lost four games in 2012 by seven points or less. Fourth-year coach Paul Grekos wants to change that so that's why the theme for this season is 'Finish.' Chatham has 12 seniors and because of their leadership Grekos says he has an extra 12 assistant coaches. Grekos has clearly built a foundation for potential success. They have a new practice field and excitement for the program is climbing. They have 65 players in the program and what they need now is results on the scoreboard. They should be able to compete in the Dogwood District but beating the likes of Dan River, Altavista, and Gretna will be a challenge. Chatham continues to churn out athletic playmakers but finding ways to get them into space has been an issue. If they can solve that and get solid blocking up front the Cavaliers appear to be much improved in 2013.
