Summary: It's not often that you look a two-time state championship winning coach AND quarterback but that's what the Bees have to deal with this season. Jeff Woody departed to coach Monticello in Charlottesville and 2012 Football Friday Player of the Year Kendall BeCraft is now a walk-on at Virginia Tech. With that and the fact that Brookville has won 28 games in a row, interim head coach Marshall Schmitt has his hands full. His son will help him out. Jason Schmitt is the new varsity offensive coordinator. He'll keep the same spread offense and use the same terminology as the previous coaching regime. Four of the five starting offensive linemen return. Senior Neal Reynolds takes over at QB. He's played "five or six times in the 4th quarter in blowouts." There's a chance Brookville could play Monticello in the playoffs. Josh Mason said, "There's no doubt I want to see Monticello in the playoffs. I want to see Coach Woody and Coach Lovelace crying when we beat 'em."
