Bedford, VA - One of the most elaborately decorated buildings in our area has been bringing Christmas cheer to folks for years. Photographer Dakota Rogers took us to the Elk's National Home in Bedford, where we talked to happy visitors taking in all the twinkling lights.
"I feel like everybody should be happy on Christmas. It means just let everything go and be happy on Christmas," said one person who came to see the lights.
"I'm thankful for the last moment to get out to get a Christmas card and take care of the rest of family, those who meant the most to me. I'm just really grateful and thankful for family. That's what Christmas means to me, being able to enjoy family," said another visitor.
