Flames Excited to Face #23 UNC

Lynchburg - LU plays at number 23 North Carolina Saturday night. It's the first time LU has played a ranked FBS team, the Tar Heels are ranked for the first time in four years.Kenny Scott, LU SENIOR CORNERBACK, said "It's not many chances that we get to play bigger schools like this. So being able to go to the first game and, you know, show people what we're made of, it's really exciting. I'm really excited to go."Nick Sigmon, LU SENIOR LINEBACKER (NORTHSIDE), said "If you're going down there with an expectation to lose because it's an FBS team or a team like North Carolina, then you shouldn't even be playing. So I know for us, we've been close the past two years and it's really gonna take four quarters of all three phases of the game to be able to win."
