Final Cheers Celebration of the Season moved to Thursday Night
Event coordinators have moved up the celebration to a Thursday, and have some special things in store for attendees.Organizers want the event to be the ultimate kick off to the Fourth of July weekend.
Live music and entertainment on the stage starts at 7:00.At 9:30, fireworks will light up the sky over downtown Lynchburg and Stephanie Keener at Lynch's Landing says Cheers fans will have a perfect view of the show in the sky.
Church Street will be closed between 7th and 10th streets starting at 5pm and patrons can use any legal parking spot.
Admission is free, so it's a great chance to get the family out on the town, and kick off the holiday weekend.
