FIJI Run Across Virginia Takes VT/UVa Game Ball to Stadium

Blacksburg - Phi Gamma Delta's 11th-annual FIJI Run Across Virginia is this Friday and Saturday leading up to Saturday afternoon's Virginia Tech/UVa football game in Charlottesville.

Brothers from the Phi Gamma Delta chapter at Virginia Tech will run the game ball Friday from Blacksburg to Lynchburg where they will hand it off to UVa Phi Gamma Delta brothers around midnight on Friday night. UVa brothers will run through the night and into the morning Saturday as they make their trek to Charlottesville and Scott Stadium. This year's game-time is 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

The Phi Gamma Delta chapters hope to raise more than $50,000 again this year in support of the V Foundation For Cancer Research and the fight against cancer.

Over the last 10 years, Phi Gamma Delta chapters have raised more than $382,000 in the fight against cancer.
