FCP Conference Tourney Scores and Highlights - Monday

BOYS

Chatham (8-11) won at Randolph-Henry 74-51. Cody Coeburn had 17 pointsfor the Cavaliers. Next up - a date with FCP's number one ranked team - DanRiver. That Conference 44 semifinal game will be Wednesday night in Ringgold.

Gretna (9-12) came back to beat Appomattox 63-57. JavonBennett had a game-high 24 points for Gretna. The Hawks will face theConference 37 two seed Buckingham Wednesday night.

William Campbell jumped out to a large first quarter lead and neverlooked back against Highland. The Generals won 69-44 and will travel to ParryMcCluer Wednesday night for the Conference 44 semifinals.

Rustburg's season is still alive. They used a 14-0 in the first half toaid a 64-58 win over Tunstall. Rustburg had a sizable 4th quarterlead but Tunstall was able to come back when Rustburg made just one of theirfinal eight free throws. Overall the Red Devils went 24-47 from the line. MattKimble had 24 points for Rustburg. Mike Jones added 18. Tunstall's DustinKuczinski had 23 points in their season-ending loss. Rustburg will now faceConference 30's top seed Heritage Wednesday at Rustburg.

Franklin County will hostCosby in the Conference 3 semifinals on Wednesday. Cosby beat Varina 68-42.

In Conference 45, Radford beat Craig County 98-18 and on Thursday willface Auburn in the quarterfinals.

Bath County at Auburn beat Bath County 77-47. Auburn will face Radford next.

Narrows beat Eastern Montgomery 55-47. They'll face Covington after they beat Bland County 64-52.

Giles defeated Glenvar 83-77.

VES beat Lynchburghome school 86-55. Aaron Young had 32 points for VES.

In two overtimes, Roanoke Catholic beat FishburneMilitary 88-84.

In the VACA SouthTournament, ParkwayChristian won 60-39 over Southwest Virginia Home School.

Thomas Dale defeated JamesRiver-Midlothian 68-62 so Thomas Dale will travel to Roanoke to face PatrickHenry Wednesday.

Radford had no problems with Eastern Montgomery winning 93-22.

Holy Crossbeat Chatham Hall 33-4. Hannah Todd had 12 points for Holy Cross.
