As the leaves begin to fall, the threat of wildfires goes up.
That's why Department of Forestry officials want to remind everyone that Fall Wildfire Season begins Tuesday. Officials say during the fall season, fire spreads faster due to the dryer weather conditions. They say more than 95% of wildfires are caused by human activity.
