Enrollment at Liberty University Surpasses 100,000

Lynchburg, VA - Liberty University's enrollment is now about the 100,000 mark thanks to online programs.

University leaders made the announcement Wednesday morning.

They say the 42-year-old school is now the seventh largest university in the nation and the world's largest Christian university.

They say 90,000 students were enrolled in Liberty University Online in 2013, and 80% of the school's more than 15,000 graduates were online students.

Online enrollment is up 23 % compared to a year ago.
