Driver Will Spend a Year in Prison for Fatal Hit-and-Run
Lynchburg, VA - A Campbell County man will spend the next year in prison for a deadly hit and run back in March.
On Friday, a Lynchburg judge sentenced Jeremy Jarry to five years in prison, with all but one year suspended.
Michael Jones was riding his bike near the intersection of 12th Street and Madison Street when he swerved into traffic.
The victim reportedly had a 0.27 Blood Alcohol Content after the crash.
Jarry faced a maximum of ten years in prison.
