Roanoke Co., VA - Roanoke County police say speed was a factor in a crash Tuesday morning involving a special needs school bus.
Officers responded to the crash at Clearbrook Lane and Amanda Lane about 7:15 a.m.
Investigators say the car driven by Mark Bell crossed over the center line and hit the bus head on.
Some of the students on the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Crews took Bell to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He is facing charges, including reckless driving and driving with a revoked license.
