Lexington, VA - A Lexington woman who was the driver in a crash that killed two young girls has now been charged.
According to court records, Ashley Baker, 36, now faces three charges, including having improper brakes and not having a child restraint for a child under the age of seven.
Baker was driving on the Route 11 bypass on May 10 when the car ran off the road and hit the bottom of an overpass.
A 4-year-old and an 8-year-old girl died in the crash. One of them was Baker's daughter.
