Lynchburg, VA - The reward for anyone who can lead police to who vandalized the Doughboy Statue in Lynchburg is now up to $3,000.
Local veterans created the reward after the World War One memorial at Monument Terrace was vandalized earlier this month.
If the reward is not claimed, they plan to use the money to pay for the repair. It will cost less to fix the statue if the broken piece is found.
If you know where the statue's broken bayonet is, or know who broke it, call Crime Stoppers. That number is 1-888-798-5900.
